The Cotswold Edge

Cheltenham, Broadway and the escarpment

The western scarp of the Cotswolds, hung tall: north from Birdlip past Cheltenham and Cleeve Hill to Winchcombe and Sudeley, then Broadway, Broadway Tower and Chipping Campden. Below the edge the Vale of Evesham spreads out around Bredon Hill, and Stow-on-the-Wold sits up on the high wold to the east.
