A wedding map print of the church you married in
The church at the centre, your names and the date at the top
Search for the church, chapel or venue, and set the frame to 6 km across. At that width the town is drawn street by street, with each building in place, and the church sits at the centre of the sheet. Then write your own title: your names, the place, the date. In the example above, St Mary’s stands by the bridge at the heart of Henley with the Thames running past.
It makes a first-anniversary gift (paper, as it happens), a wedding present from the family, or a print for your own wall. If you were married somewhere wilder, a hill, a beach or a castle, widen the frame to 14 or 24 km and let the landscape around it in.
- Title ideas
- “Tom & Alice · St Mary’s, Henley · 21 June 2025”“Married at Hambleden · 3 August 1996”“Ten years together · Marlow”
- Width
- 6 km to see streets and buildings; 14, 24 or 33 km to bring in the landscape.
- Honestly
- The map shows the land as it is today, measured from the air. Buildings are drawn where the survey has them and the scale allows; we don’t mark a single house.
